Small Runs, Big Ideas

Not every coffee roaster needs a million bags. Many of our customers are small to medium operations. They might roast 500 pounds a week, not 500 pounds an hour. Their packaging needs are different, and we've built our business around serving them.

For small roasters, inventory is money sitting on a shelf. Ordering too many bags ties up cash. Ordering too few risks running out during a busy week. We help them find the right balance with flexible minimum order quantities.

Digital printing has opened up new possibilities for smaller runs. With traditional gravure, each new design requires expensive engraved cylinders. That cost only makes sense for large orders. Digital printing has no cylinder costs. We can run 5,000 bags economically. For a small roaster testing a new blend or a seasonal release, this is perfect. It also means changes are easier. If a label needs to be updated or a roast date format changes, we can adjust on the next run without huge setup fees. This flexibility lets roasters respond to the market faster.

Some of our most creative packaging comes from small roasters. They take risks. They try unusual designs or special finishes that larger brands might avoid. A holographic accent here. A custom valve color there. These details help them stand out against bigger competitors with bigger budgets.

We've watched many small roasters grow over the years. Their orders get larger. Their designs get more refined. But they remember that we were there when they needed 3,000 bags, not 300,000.
