"Same Design, One Side Shiny, One Side See-Through? Here's Why Your Window Bag Isn't Metallic".Have you ever held two bags with the same colorful design… but one has a shiny metallic look, and the other has a clear window? And you wonder:"Why isn't the window side also metalized?".You're not alone, many first-time buyers get confused by this.
You can't have both 100% transparency and full metallization on the same surface.Metallization (the shiny aluminum layer) is opaque - it blocks light completely. If we put it over the window area, you wouldn't see the product inside. That defeats the whole purpose of a window.

So how do we make it work in one bag?
We use a technique called partial metallization or registered metallization:
The non-window areas get the shiny metallic coating.
The window area stays clear, without any aluminum layer.
Then we can get:
✅ Same overall design
✅ Same brand colors
✅ You can see your product through the window
✅ And still get that premium metallic look on the rest of the bag

"But the metallic and clear parts feel different - is that a defect?".No,that's normal. The window area uses just clear film (no coating), while the metallic part has an added layer. Different layers = slightly different feel and stiffness.
Our advice for you
If you want a window, embrace the contrast. It's not a flaw - it's what makes window-metallic bags work.
And if you need the entire bag to feel uniform? Skip the window, go full metallization, and add a separate transparent pouch inside.
