To maintain the freshness and preservation of food, without other oxidizing substances in the food packaging bag, the shelf life of the food can be extended and the food can be protected from being squeezed during transportation. What should be noted when choosing plastic packaging bags, and what should be noted during transportation?
1. The puncture resistance strength of the plastic bag after vacuum treatment
One of the important functions of packaging bags is to protect food, whether it is for transportation or for sale. If most of the packaging is punctured, it will no longer serve its protective purpose. Therefore, we need to know if our products have sharp and hard substances and at what level they can be punctured.
In the conventional method, the packaging manufacturer provides samples, and then the tester conducts vacuum packaging tests, followed by methods such as throwing, dropping, and pressing, and finally checks for any bag rupture phenomena.

2. Under what conditions can the vacuum bag be used?
This includes processing environment, storage environment, and transportation environment. Different environments require the selection of different plastic films and printing processes. For example, for ready-to-eat salted duck feet, after vacuum packaging, either high-temperature sterilization or boiling sterilization can be chosen. The packaging bag data requirements are different. High-temperature sterilization requires the plastic film to be resistant to temperatures above 121℃, while boiling sterilization requires resistance to temperatures of 100℃. Moreover, in a high-temperature environment, it should not dissolve in water and have strong water-blocking properties.

3. Maintain other requirements for food
The vacuum bag is designed to extend the shelf life and better preserve its color, aroma and taste. Besides being puncture-resistant, it also has many other functional requirements. For example, for salt-baked chicken legs and chicken wings, there will be grease. The plastic bag must have oil resistance and aroma preservation properties.
