  Understanding the material composition of your packaging is key to selecting the right solution. Our standard structure for premium stand-up pouches is BOPP/VMPET/PE. Each layer is chosen for its specific, complementary properties, creating a total system that is stronger and more effective than any single material could be.

  The outermost layer is BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) . This film is stretched in two directions during manufacturing, giving it exceptional tensile strength, clarity, and resistance to tearing and punctures. BOPP provides a smooth, stable surface for high-definition printing and protects the delicate inner layers from physical damage during handling and shipping.

  The middle layer is VMPET (Vacuum Metalized Polyethylene Terephthalate) . This is where the true barrier performance is created. A microscopically thin layer of aluminum is deposited onto a PET film in a vacuum chamber. This creates a near-total barrier against oxygen, moisture, and light. The PET substrate provides additional strength and heat resistance, stabilizing the entire laminate.

  The innermost layer is PE (Polyethylene) . This food-grade material is the sealing layer. It has a low melting point, allowing it to be heat-sealed securely without damaging the outer layers. PE is also flexible and chemically inert, meaning it won't react with the product it contacts. Together, these three layers form a package that is strong, protective, and reliable.
